Week 2 of my PTS learning journey. I have left this session with goosebumps, insight, reassurance and determination that the system must change. I have hope that there is a better world @MaydayTrust#PTS
Such an inspirational discussion by @patmcardle51 on homelessness and why the system needs to change. These services often trap people within them and on the streets with no hope. Focusing on a person’s problems only allows them to move so far. #AD4Efestival
Really pleased to be recruiting our first Asset Coaches - a great opportunity to test @MaydayTrust learning in a Welsh mental health & housing context. Be part of #SystemChange
I tried to explain on TV in six minutes what causes addiction and we have deeply misunderstood it for a long time now - have a watch https://t.co/tfiVXj2wUe
Delighted to included in the #ReimaginingHelp Guide created by @nesta with @macmillancancer, @TheBHF, @UCLBehaveChange & @DartingtonSD. Together they developed a model of ‘Good Help’ that supports people to reach the goals that matter most to them #PTS. https://t.co/zpouJaRHri
There’s a lot of talk about strength-based practice, asset-based work, but what does it mean to work in a truly person-led way? join @SMITF_frontline partner @MaydayTrust @SarahPTS_ on 16th Sept for FREE #frontline#reflections https://t.co/g0jVyaUHJ8
I spent today having conversations with people who were sleeping rough during lockdown. So many examples of people feeling othered and isolated. People are constantly turned into labels and dehumanised. It's like we're scared of being human or having a human response #bemorehuman
Already some resources posted there ready to share, including a blog from @MaydayTrust about the importance of community for people who have experienced homelessness - https://t.co/sEEzBpVURM
There's still time to apply for the #PTS Qualification. It's flexible, can fit in around your job, and delves into #SystemsChange and strength-based/person-led approaches to working alongside people going through tough times https://t.co/LjSTv1GyGm
We are looking to hear from those who were rough sleeping in Westminster at any point during the pandemic to share their experience with us by 14th August. In person, via phone, video call or directly through this link https://t.co/Qv0NUk8Ao4 You talk, we listen
George has been part of the Mayday team for the past year and we couldn't have had nicer things to say about him, that was until he decided to jump out of a plane and raise money on Mayday's behalf.. we think you'll agree this makes him a #legend! https://t.co/KGMM3MebFa
Next Thursday we are excited to hold a Q&A Forum Event with @SarahPTSMayday_ from @MaydayTrust, where we will discuss the benefits of strengths-based and personalised support during C-19.

Tomorrow is the final conversation for #WisdomfromtheSystem, if you have experience of working in/or being in the system that you would like to share it's not too late to get involved. Remember, it's good to talk! Register here https://t.co/3Uvbbfgpty
The #PTS Qualification with @covcampus is more than a qualification, it's about personal development, exploration and reflection. Find out more here: https://t.co/LjSTv1GyGm
We're still listening... We were wowed by what we heard in our first #WisdomfromtheSystem call, so why not join us again on the 30th July and continue to share your experience of the system? https://t.co/NiBCnawnk9
Thank you @MaydayTrust for this morning's excellent @SMITF_frontline reflections on strength-based working to counter the difficulties of a deficit system. We couldn't agree more with the importance of a truly person-led approach and ensuring we work with a strength mindset.
