Maybe alcohol breaks the contact with God and myself. When I meditate after drinking it’s put silence. Other times when sober, brain will not stop racing. Where is the balance?

Almost ready to start a new. No more drama and just move forward… I love my wife but don’t think I have the energy to continue this negativity any longer!
Everytime my wife and I drink together the past creeps on in… Tonight, I have done nothing but mind my own business and relaxed. We hit a certain point the past comes in and I’m a bad human again. Either there will be no more alcohol or we will no longer have a relationship.
I would like to remove the waste scrolling, movies and shows. Just about anything that waste my time and sometimes even has a negative effect on my mood or feelings. I am going to work on replacing that time with learning, reading, researching, more productive hobbies
@Masterlee_fn@ysuckme Missing the point. You’re not removing everything negative, you’re learning how to deal with the negatives, enjoy life as it is, and you GROW!
That’s what I got out of this post, I mean.
It doesn’t matter how much I try, I avoid drama news. Negativity, crazy politics, and I continuously find my self reading or watching something negative.
