I've recently discovered a really useful R package by Jan Broder Engler called tidyheatmaps. It's designed to make creating heatmaps from tidy data easy, especially for publication-quality visuals. The package uses pheatmap for detailed heatmaps with less coding.
If you work with data like gene expression, you can get a heatmap set up quickly. The usage is straightforward, allowing for quick customization of your heatmaps.
Check out the full guide for all options: https://t.co/imJP1uO2hA
Give it a try for your next data visualization task. It could be a game changer for presenting your data.
If you're interested in statistics, data science, and programming, you might also enjoy my free newsletter where such topics are covered regularly.

I’m very excited to share this incredible work that I developed with @amanda_bendia, uncovering the hyperthermophilic archaea from Antarctic fumaroles at #ISME19 🌋❄️🧬
So happy to be party of Brazilian scientists at #ISME19 !!! @ISME_microbes
It’s a honor to represent the marine microbiology and @vivianpellizari @pellizarilab!
We had 10 days of intense work at Lençóis Maranhenses with the best team in the project “The contribution of the microbiome of coastal and estuarine
environments to blue carbon and ecosystem health indicators” coordinated by @vivianpellizari and funded by @CNPq_Oficial
After two incredible weeks in Bretagne (and a hurricane 😅), the incredible #EBAME8 came to an end. I thank everyone who made this possible and I return to Brazil with a feeling of accomplishment and amazing friends ✨
Talking a little about my work at LECOM at #EBAME8. Very happy to share the results of my master's and introduce the Lençóis maranhenses to the World 💁🏻♀️🧫🧬
