Today is the 10th International Day of Women and Girls in Science #IDWGS!
Diversity in science benefits everyone! At CIHR, we’re proud to support women researchers at every career stage, including through programs like the REDI Award: https://t.co/evet2RjKKe
The courage to start something and the continued courage to follow through. Everyone needs inspiration and so many have found that in Terry Fox and his incredible legacy. Truthfully this video made me cry. We all know someone whose lives have been touched by cancer and how we need to come together to #EndIt

❄️✨Merry Christmas, #WesternU!
Today is a significant day for many faith groups, including Christians, who celebrate the birth of Jesus. Beyond spiritual observances, there are various secular ways to celebrate the holiday, including exchanging gifts and decorating trees. 🎄
#WesternU is open today, Dec. 3; however, it's foggy, snowy, and slippery around campus. Your safety is our priority. University crews will continue to clean up throughout the day. Please travel safely to and on campus. #SafetyFirst
We are recruiting! Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto is recruiting an early career cancer research scientist at Assistant Professor level. Apply! Spread the word! https://t.co/7AY4rQRPgZ
Today we pause and remember all those who sacrificed their lives in the service of Canada while protecting our freedom and values. We also share our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have served and those serving today.

Today, September 30, we observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (#NDTR) to honour the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as increasing awareness of the intergenerational impacts on their families and communities.
The summer weather has been nice, but we can't wait to see the fall colours across campus again. 🍂🍁
Happy first day of autumn, #WesternU!
