Itโs so crazy how everything gets to Africa last.
- Facebook monetisation has been ongoing since 2018 and stil not yet in Africa.
- Instagram is monetised but not in Africa
- Tiktok pays creators for in stream ads but not in Africa
- Twitter just started and stil before it will get to Africa maybe when the money is remaining 1k.
- YouTubers struggled in the past as well.
More reasons we donโt get too excited when we hear these news of monetisation of social media platforms because we will be the last to experience it.
But if they want to test a virus or a vaccine, Africa will come to their mind first.

Snapchat recently reminded me of the passion with which I started this business of mine, in October 2020 with no launch, no logo ๐ ๐คญ
Just a picture off Pinterest, an Instagram account and a broadcast list to my WhatsApp contact list, asking them to follow my business account.
But if you make the sacrifice, there's reward. Always go the extra mile. Do the extra stuff. There's economical crisis, it's understandable that people won't help but do the extra. Those extras have unique rewards.
PENTECOSTAL GIBBERISH... in Israel.
Speaking in tongues in a multi-lingual context can be interesting.
Two days ago in Nazareth, we were praying at the close of the day. A group from Poland was in the lobby, not far from the space where we were praying , and, wait for it, we were praying in tongues.
One of the Poles was suddenly fixated on our prayer. I noticed he stood & stared for a while, then took a seat & began to whisper to a member of their team while they both observed us.
When his colleagues left the lobby, he stayed back to talk to one of us.
Back-end: This is what happened.
He asked the pastor who led our prayer session if the pastor speaks Polish. Pastor said no. In shock, he told Pastor he heard him speak polish while we prayed. What he heard is possibly more intriguing. He said Pastor, in prayer, mentioned the names of two members of his family - his grand daughter & someone else. Pastor, he continued, went on to mention a problem that his grand daughter was battling with & brought a word of guidance & encouragement from the Lord. It was to be sure he wasn't mad that he called one of his Polish colleagues to join him. He wanted to have a witness & some corroboration. He isn't so fluent in English & his witness-colleague does not speak english at all. These Poles are Roman Catholics. Not crazy Pentecostals.
I have been in situations like this in the past. The one before this Tuesday's was in the USA, and curiously, it involved a Pole too โ man in his 80s. He heard me speak polish while praying.
Our reformed friends can make of this what they like... even though a reluctant part of me would like to know what they make of it. ๐

I really love those friendships, where you both know life is taking over and there is no anger over it, everyone is getting busy and trying to stay afloat. But when you both talk again, nothing has changed. I am super happy I have those kind of friendship ๐ค
