@MariannaBolog @Momademia My theory is they get to school/kindergarten on Mon, they pick up yet another respiratory virus, then you have the incubation period, on Fri you start noticing a runny nose, and there you go — a full blown cough + fever on a sunny weekend. This repeats through fall/winter/spring.
This is the view from the balcony of the beautiful venue of Zadar Linguistic Forum. I presented joint work on polysemy w @MariannaBolog and @KatrinMKohl. Thanks to the organizers for a great conference! #zlf2022#polysemy#metaphor
