they streamlined permitting, upzoned most of the city, and eliminated parking mandates. Tons of housing is going up and rents are plummeting.

Class, maybe we'll learn next time that gentrification, and a lot of displacement, happens at a systems level and looking for "out of place" white people instead of dealing with housing policy, wealth creation (both personal and community level), and lack of supply is silly...
