Just minutes after quitting the DMK alliance and declaring support for #TVKVijay , Vaiko made scathing allegations against the DMK. He claimed that the DMK forced him to accept the four seats it offered, and that too only under the Rising Sun symbol, leaving no room for bargain or discussion. Questions how come VCK and IUML alone were allowed to contest under own symbols and not MDMK?
Vaiko also alleged that the DMK had looted public money and indulged in commissions and corruption.
Even a monkey can tell it wasn't a tablet. @TVKVijayHQ says he wants to be the 'change.' Then do what previous regimes never did: sack the minister after an internal inquiry.
Massive embarrassment to #TVK govt!
In a video that recently surfaced on social media, TN Minister D Sarath Kumar can be seen arranging a white powdery substance on a phone screen with a bank card.

Not sure why TASMAC Shop No. 733 in T. Nagar, located just a few buildings away from Shrine Velankanni School, is still open. This shop didn't make it to the list of the 717 TASMAC outlets that were recently closed by the TVK govt, despite being on the same road as the school.
Saw liquor bottles strewn across the road where children walk after coming out of the school gate.
A portal that helps expose bribe-takers!
30-year-old software engineer Deepak Sivakumar has launched Makkal Saatchi, an anti-corruption portal that makes it easier for citizens to report bribery in government offices and TASMAC outlets.
Launched on May 27, the portal has already received 421 complaints, with alleged bribe demands crossing ₹7 crore. The highest number of complaints are against TASMAC outlets for overcharging, with Chennai topping the list.
Next, he plans to integrate AI into the portal, using pattern analysis to identify government offices where bribes are frequently demanded and classify them as 'hotspots'. This feature is still in the pipeline.
Inspired by CM Joseph Vijay's anti-corruption stance, Deepak says the idea came to him while watching the Chief Minister's swearing-in ceremony
There are 75+ categories of bribery and corruption that common man can report against. From sexual favours, money demanded for transfers, traffic police bribe to TASMAC overcharging etc.

The Velachery–Tambaram stretch that's around 16 kms long in Chennai is set to be renamed in honour of Martyr Major Mukund Varadharajan by the Tambaram Municipal Corporation.
As the road falls under the jurisdiction of the NHAI, a NOC certificate has to be obtained, said an official.
Resolution to this effect was passed yesterday in the Corporation, following a request from the public. Major Mukund studied in MCC and spent a huge chunk of his teenage life in this area, said an offical.
IMPORTANT: First anniversary of Air India Ahmedabad crash in which 260 people died. Still NO SIGN of the final report. Lots of assurances but still NO report. Without a final report, there can be no closure for the victim families. Interestingly, UK newspapers have asked more searching questions than we have at home. Will the TRUTH ever come out? Or will it be another case of NO DETAILS AVAILABLE? (NDA). Prayers and thoughts with victim families: they surely deserve better 🙏
Tamil Nadu govt led by @TVKVijayHQ is looking to maintain a smooth-sailing & working relationship with BJP-led Union govt. Matters such as strong opposition for 3-language policy will continue. CM Joseph Vijay has taken two visits to Delhi in the last one month.
So far, Tamil Nadu has received the Centre's approval for projects worth ₹16,000 crore under various schemes, including the Urban Challenge Fund for river restoration (₹7,500 crore), VBGRAMG for rural employment (₹7,500 crore), and disaster management (₹1,000 crore).
