I am not trying to make anyone feel bad b/c we are all on different fitness levels, I am not going to adjust my workout to boost someone elses. I love lifting and being strong, plus in my line of work I need it. Moral of story, worry not on what people think of you, & do you☺️
I don’t get compliments often at the gym but recently this older man saw me chest pressing two 65lb dumbbells & once I finished my set he came up to me saying “you shouldn’t lift so heavy b/c it’ll make the men in the gym feel weak”. I responded “Thats the plan” and up’d to 70lbs
Deciding to stay or get out the military is such a hard decision. I love the job security, pay, benefits the military gives, but i miss my freedom to do whatever i please without worrying about being sent to Mast. Like i have cautious of what i say or i get in trouble.
I still can’t believe Chente is gone… i listened to his music everyday before work and It makes me happy that he is alive through his music. But damn does it make me want to cry and take some shots of tequila.
No one will know the love I have for Chente. Watching his movies with my dad every afternoon or morning. Then after the movie is over we do farm work blasting Chente. Probably my favorite moments growing up. Gracias por todo♥️ @_VicenteFdez
He toured relentlessly, created the themes for wildly popular telenovelas and starred in more than two dozen movies throughout the ’70s and ’80s — often depicted in his iconic traje de charro.

Vicente Fernandez was not just a singer. He was the voice of a culture who filled the households of many of us who grew up listening to his songs. His music is the soundtrack to a ton of memories growing up.. Damn, I’m sad
