@Eskom_SA @eThekwiniM From this tweet it sounds like this 275kV substation is not getting it's primary side's feed from Eskom? Does the Klaarwater substation then get it's feed in from a HV switching yard further back towards Eskom's side? To me it looks like a major repair also requiring Eskom techs?

@CityofJoburgZA Bad idea. Running on backup generators will burn diesel like crazy or there will be no electricity in some places inside the facility. A better strategy should have been pursued to bring the accounts up to date. Indirectly Eskom is desperate for every cent to keep the ⚡on 🙄

@hbgb80 I get really grumpy when the temp goes over 30°C ... and trying to have sex fun during a heatwave is impossible unless you can stay under a cool shower or stay in a swimming pool all day long. Absolutely hate having to drive around in the heat for stuff..

@CityPowerJhb What about the Eikenhof and reservoir substation equipment where backup systems & equipment need to be desperately installed to prevent future water outages to hospitals, clinics, shops etc. ? Is it unaffordable?

@CityPowerJhb @TimesLIVE I absolutely hate it when utilities like CityPower start threatening or blaming consumers for using ⚡it only exacerbates tensions in an already tense climate. CityPower must (a) FIX their own equipment (b) Increase the number of technicians (c) TELL ESKOM to STOP loadshedding?!

@Eskom_SA Back in the RED again ... when will the electricity suddenly go off again? With short notice? At 12h35 you were in the orange zone. Your system is extremely unpredictable - maybe it's because I dared to switch on my geyser for 2hrs: it's like magic, every time. Geyser OFF now!?

@Eskom_SA Why can't the https://t.co/p0VlGn11AJ webpage have an active real-time indicator so one can get feedback as to where the system is? Just having alerts on SABC channels isn't going to do it - I never watch SABC? To get your message out is critical. Then you can communicate better?
