Our community has been misbranded as “pro-opioid advocates”, when in fact, we’re “pro-patient autonomy”, which includes the right to choose effective tx (opioids are one). One of the most egregious outcomes of #PainDenialism is dismissal of serious symptoms. #DEACenteredCare

The bystander effect is very real. It’s especially bad when ppl that do speak up are made examples of by the DOJ and med boards. There’s a Dr currently that spoke up for autonomy for MD/pts, she’s now facing bogus charges for rxing to patients that require outlier doses of meds.

It has finally happened!!

I prescribed naloxone for harm reduction (pt w/cancer pain requiring opioid analgesia) and the health insurer is asking for a Prior Authorization on the naloxone (which they required for a PA on the opioid). 🤦🏻‍♂️

It’s past time to rally against pain patient conversion therapy programs. This is torture. Part of the program involves cutting ppl off all meds and forcing them to exercise and not talk about their pain.

@CMerandi I'm not a female, but I just recently was told by my new PC Dr., the one responsible for my Statin poisoning, that I must be suffering from PTSD as a result of my daughter's death & other life changing issues.

"The only trauma I've got is my undertreated pain you created."
