I live in deep Red America. Anecdotal, but every one of my friends is conservative, and every one (that I know of) has had it with Trump. The war, cost of living (esp gas), and how he acts like he doesn’t give a shit is what has pushed them over the edge.

239 year ago today, Benjamin Franklin was coming out of the Constitutional Convention in Philly. Elizabeth Willing Powell asked Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”
Franklin replied instantly, “A republic, if you can keep it”. Midterms matter.
