A four day weekend has me raring to go tomorrow - first off - profiling an interesting product mgt sw vendor, then a value stream mgt sw vendor, then some team level theme planning.

“Can I use [business app] for [personal life use case]” isn’t as much of a flex as the app vendor thinks it is.

The person might as well have said “this tool is super generic and I’m not sure what to use it for.”

It’s time for the land/expand SaaSers to set their sights higher

And anything that gives me perspective - history, prehistory, reading stuff about space, deep dives into different countries’ cultures. Basically anything that shakes me out of my normal work mode for a while so I can reset.

My favorite tools to maximize my productivity:

1. My bike
2. Wellness days and vacation
3. Strolling my neighborhood
4. Quick trips out to a nice viewpoint to gaze at the sea.
5. Energetic time with my kiddo

I.e., tbh, not really apps.

Remember talking to someone in @Microsoft who proudly said they had two UX people FT on Planner unaware - it seemed - that there were giant teams in the pure play project, planning and work mgt markets innovating like crazy. The complacency was off the charts.
