@LibertyLovingM1 They already do.. a landing fee. For instance, at Chicago Midway (MDW), the fee is between $4.84 and $6.05 per 1,000 lbs of max gross landed weight. At O'Hare (ORD), it's higher at $10.55 per 1,000 lbs. Landing fees are a primary revenue source for airports to cover op costs.
