Zeliangrong Tiger Force, armed group of ZUF allegedly dismantles Poppy Plantation in Waphong area,Kangpokpi.

The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has stepped up its drive against what it says is the growing encroachment on Zeliangrong–Inpui ancestral land.

In a fresh operation in the Waphong area of Kangpokpi district, the group cleared poppy fields and dismantled huts reportedly used by illegal settlers.

The ZUF again urged refugees and illegal occupants to stop exploiting indigenous land, and appealed for unity and vigilance among all indigenous communities to protect their shared heritage.
