There's a day I went shopping in a clothing store and this kid of about 15 walked in with his mother. He stood in one corner & for the next about 30 minutes did nothing but doomscroll through loud TikTok videos as his mother picked clothes. Dude was like a zombie, completely oblivious to his surrounding.
I felt so bad for him. Kids stopped living, they now just watch others living. And any curiosity that brought us excitement has since been dulled by informational overload. And because this information is constantly dispensed, they no longer feel obliged to actually live experiences. That's how we ended up with 13 year olds ventilating about the extremes of adult relationships. They lost before they even started.
I got into that app once and left immediately. If I ever get on back there, it will be purely for business purposes. Otherwise, it's an intellectual, spiritual, and emotional wasteland. A technological dystopia.
Mimi naye mtu amekuwa there for me hata tufall out I'd never speak ill of you hata unifike wapi. I'd never do a back and forth with you so nitanyamaza tu. Cos regardless, you gave me a chance when no one else did.
Have you seen someone who's less smart, less prepared, less qualified than you and still winning? You know they aren't that talented, but still they're achieving bigger things than you. That's Yhprum's law in action. It's when everything that should go wrong somehow works out just because they dare and keep going. You're sitting there overthinking, planning, doubting yourself while they're out there doing things relentlessly, imperfectly, shamelessly. You know we think that success follows logic, good school, smart ideas, right timing, but most of the people who win didn't follow a map, they just didn't stop. They're not better than you. They just didn't care if they looked stupid. They failed, they spoke up, they made mistakes in public. And while you waited to feel ready, they already built something. The reason people win isn't because it makes sense. It's because they move fast while you were still trying to find logic in everything
Someone planted tomatoes in the national park and sprayed them with enough cyanide to kill fully grown Elephants. They think we are 53 Million idiots. ππββοΈ
