Today, the number of devotees who have visited the Mahakumbh 2025 stands at about 23 crores (230 million). With about 45 crore visitors expected at the Mahakumbh, the Government of India, the Government of #UttarPradesh, and other government agencies have geared up and pulled together to turn this once-in-a-lifetime spiritual gathering into a stunning and never-before-seen success.

In addition to these numbers, the magnanimity of Mahakumbh 2025 inspires awe when we know that an entire temporary city, ‘#MahakumbhNagar’, has been set up by the Government with thousands of tents and shelters offering all the necessary facilities for the pilgrims and visitors. While handling such a mega gathering of vast magnitude, there were a few unfortunate events. However, they were well handled with due care and concern for the devotees.

Whether infrastructure building, security arrangements, health services, digital innovations, promotion of culture or global outreach, the Government has rolled out top-notch, cost-effective facilities and left no stone unturned, transforming the ancient tradition of #Mahakumbh into a global marvel.

State-of-the-Art #Infrastructure:
– Several roads have been renovated, beautified and constructed, along with many pontoon bridges. Multi-language signages are installed to guide the pilgrims.
– Mobile toilets, robust waste management systems, potable water, uninterrupted electricity, etc., are available in Mahakumbh Nagar.
– ‘Jan Ashray’ camps have been erected for the highly cost-effective stay of pilgrims.

Unprecedented Security Arrangements:
– 50,000+ police and paramilitary personnel are deployed in Prayagraj.
– #AdvancedSurveillance is mounted using AI-powered crowd density monitoring systems, thousands of AI-enabled CCTVs, aerial surveillance drones and facial recognition technology for enhanced safety. For the first time, underwater drones capable of diving up to 100 meters are providing round-the-clock surveillance.
– Fire safety is ensured by deploying Articulating Water Towers equipped with video and thermal imaging to prevent fire incidents and to tackle fires 35 meters high and 30 metres wide.
– A team of 56 cybersecurity warriors is monitoring online threats.
– Modern Multi-Disaster Response vehicles capable of handling disaster situations and accidents are deployed to enhance disaster readiness.

Comprehensive Health Services:
– Medical Infrastructure, including #TemporaryHospitals equipped with surgical and diagnostic facilities, ‘Bhishma Cubes’ each capable of treating up to 200 people are deployed.
– As part of eye care at the Mahakumbh, the ‘Netra Kumbh’ camp has been organised, which conducts eye tests for pilgrims and distributes eye-glasses.
– Dedicated health camps are being held for elderly pilgrims and children, which are focused on mobility assistance, hydration support and emergency care.

🌟 Kolhapur Medical & Healthcare Camp 2025 🌟
— a ‘Journey of Compassion & Transformation’ and one of the largest of its kind — concluded with phenomenal success.

Through its essence of compassion and care, the Camp brought together Shraddhavan expert doctors, paramedics and volunteers, embodying the vision of Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi (Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu) to serve and uplift the needy communities in the interiors of Kolhapur.

Day 1 | The day of distribution of essential hygiene and relief materials covered:
🩺 9,723 families across 101 villages.

Day 2 | On the day of the Medical & Healthcare Camp, the vibrant 10-acre campsite hosted:
🩺 Nearly 8,000 school children from 137 schools and over 4,600 villagers.

They all, nearly 13,000 local villagers, benefitted from the medical checkups, diagnoses and treatment made available at the Camp with the help of Seva offered by expert doctors and paramedics. #Iran fires missiles on #Israel after Israel hit Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon and Houthis in Yemen in response to Oct 7 terror attacks.

Amid speculations that #Israel could respond by targeting Iranian #NuclearFacilities, Israel says, “Our ‘#masterplan’ is ready. We will give a fitting response to every attack by Iran”. At the same time, Iran says, “It is ready to respond with greater intensity. Iran’s next response will be even more devastating.”

Meanwhile, #India has expressed willingness to mediate between #IsraelIran for talks.

Indian Govt has approved a major plan to build a new airbase in #Lakshadweep’s #Minicoy islands and extend the existing airfield on #Agatti island.

These airbases would deploy and operate all types of fighter, transport aircraft and long-range drones. They will be used by all 3 #IndianArmedForces as also the #IndianCoastGuard, naturally extending their presence and reach in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR).

Since these would be #DualUse airfields, they will also be used by commercial airlines and thus also boost #LakshadweepTourism.

Moreover, #IndianNavy is planning to eventually upgrade Lakshadweep’s #Minicoy naval base for berthing large ships, incl. #AircraftCarriers.

India’s particular focus on Lakshadweep is highly strategic as it comes when #ChineseNavy is expanding its operations while colluding very closely with #PakistaniNavy in the IOR.

One of the biggest highlights of the annual ‘Mega #BloodDonation Camp’, held on 21st April 2024, was achieving a cumulative total donation of 2,00,000 units of #blood.

This humongous figure was achieved with dedication over the years from 1999 until this last camp thanks to the contribution of #BloodDonors, the efforts of volunteers of Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management, Shree Aniruddha Aadesh Pathak & all allied organisations, the concerned #BloodBanks, and, of course, the guidance & grace of Sadguru #AniruddhaBapu.

Today, the ‘Mega #BloodDonation Camp’ was held in Mumbai and also at 120 other locations across #Maharashtra and India under the auspices of the Aniruddha’s Academy of #DisasterManagement (@AniruddhasADM), Shree Aniruddha Aadesh Pathak & sister organisations.

The Camp recorded:
– 14,283 units of blood donated in total
– 7,029 of which were in #Mumbai.
– 1,020 units of blood donated in #Pune.
– 6,234 units of blood donated at other locations.

Interestingly, from 1999 till date, cumulative total donation of 2,00,000 units of blood were achieved with the grace of Sadguru #AniruddhaBapu.

I highly appreciate the efforts of all the donors, volunteers and concerned blood banks.

#ThirdWorldWar: Israel is responding with full force to condemnable terrorist attacks by Hamas. The Israeli retaliation may turn Gaza into a strip of ruins for harbouring terrorists, as promised by #Israel PM Netanyahu.

Although it started as an #IsraelHamasWar, the real conflict appears to be between sworn enemies Israel and #Iran, which is backing Hamas. With Israel’s very pride at stake due to the barbaric & humiliating attacks by Hamas, Israel may well be forced to attack Iran if the fighting stretches too long.

Besides, this provocation from Hamas and its consequences have a strong possibility of pulling #Lebanon, #Syria and Turkey into this conflict and may also force many other Mideast nations, as well as some superpowers, to take sides, thus widespreading the conflict.

Also, the social #polarization on the religious lines due to this conflict that is surfacing in the Western nations has the potential to cause unrest and riots across #Europe, the US and other places.

In his book ‘The Third World War’ written back in 2006, #DrAniruddhaJoshi has written extensively about the Israel-Palestine conflict and the overall situation in the Middle East.
