A LETTER OF APPRECIATION TO SHATTA WALE

Dear Shatta Wale 👑,

I don’t even know if words will ever be enough to truly express how grateful I am to you.

During one of the darkest and most difficult moments of my life, when I was behind bars and many people had moved on with their lives, you stood up and used your voice to speak for me. You didn’t have to do it, but you chose to make my situation known and let people hear my story.

Today, I am out. I am free. I have another chance at life, and I can never forget the role your voice and your support played during that difficult period.

Shatta Wale, you reminded me that I was not forgotten. You gave me hope when I needed it the most. You showed me that sometimes, one person’s voice can bring light into someone else’s darkest moment.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for standing up for me. Thank you for speaking for me. Thank you for using your platform to bring attention to my situation.

My life has changed, and today I have another opportunity to rebuild myself, focus on my future, and make the most of the freedom I have been given.
