मानसिक स्वास्थ्य माह 2026 की गतिविधियों के तहत मंगलवार को अनन्ता इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ मेडिकल साइंसेज एंड रिसर्च सेंटर राजसमंद के मनोचिकित्सा विभाग द्वारा आत्महत्या रोकथाम हेतु मेडिकल इंटर्न्स एवं स्टूडेंट्स को प्रोफेसर डॉ. सुनील कुमार द्वारा गेटकीपर ट्रेनिंग द�� गई। इस सत्र के दौरान भविष्य के डॉक्टर्स को आत्महत्या के चेतावनी संकेत समझने, सीधे सवाल पूछने, सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने, प्रोफेशनल मदद के लिए प्रेरित करने, टेलीमानस एवम मनोरोग विशेषज्ञ से मदद हेतु रेफर करने के बारे में विस्तार से समझाया गया। उन्होंने बताया की आत्महत्या या आत्महत्या का प्रयास करने वाले 95% से भी अधिक लोगों को मानसिक स्वास्थ्य समस्या जिसमें भी मुख्यतया डिप्रेशन होती है जिसका ��मय रहते समुचित उपचार करवा कर आत्महत्या को रोका जा सकता है। इस दौरान प्रतिभागियों को आत्महत्या रोकथाम शपथ भी दिलाई गई। इसी कड़ी में गीतांजलि मेडिकल कॉलेज में आयोजित पीजी साइकियाट्रिक क्विज में संस्थान के मनोचिकित्सा विभाग के रेजिडेंट डॉ. उत्कर्ष गौड़ और डॉ. फराज़ चिश्ती ने उदयपुर संभाग के समस्त 6 मेडिकल कॉलेजों में प्रथम स्थान हासिल किया।

Advancing Neonatal Care Through Skill and Simulation

Advanced NRP Workshop | West Zone NeoCon at Ananta Institute

An Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Workshop was successfully conducted during the prestigious West Zone NeoCon National Conference at Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Rajsamand, Rajasthan.

Under the guidance of Dr. Nitin Sharma, Executive Director, with the valuable support of Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Principal, and coordinated by Dr. Pranay Trivedi, Course Coordinator, the workshop focused on strengthening the knowledge, confidence and practical skills required for effective neonatal emergency care.

The hands-on programme covered advanced neonatal resuscitation, effective ventilation and endotracheal intubation, chest compressions, emergency medications, emergency team dynamics, simulation-based training and structured debriefing.

The workshop was conducted by an experienced faculty team comprising Dr. Pranay Trivedi, Dr. Mahendra Jain, Dr. V.K. Garg and Dr. Vishnu Pansari, with active support from the faculty and organizing team of Ananta Institute.

The programme was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests Dr. J.K. Mittal and Dr. Dheeraj Diwakar, who emphasized the importance of timely and effective neonatal resuscitation and the role of simulation-based learning in improving newborn care.

With 24 participants from different parts of India, the workshop provided extensive hands-on learning through skill stations and realistic simulation scenarios, helping participants build greater confidence and competence in managing critical neonatal emergencies.

The successful completion of this national-level workshop reflects Ananta Institute’s continued commitment to medical education, professional skill development and advancing quality neonatal healthcare.

In the series of activities under mental health month 2026, Department of psychiatry, Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Rajsamand organised five module gatekeeper training. Professor and head Dr. Bharat Agarwal provided training on the modules “Mann Darpan” and “Workplace stress management.” He emphasize the role of Mental Health among medical students and to take help of TELEMANAS in case of any stressful event for themselves as well as their peers

Professor Dr. Sunil Kumar provided training on “Role of Gatekeeper” and “Exam stress management.” Dr. Rajvee Dave provided training on “, I support my friend ad Youth mind and mental health.”

Principal and Controller Dr. Sanjay Gupta told that after this training psychiatry faculty will conduct various activities to enhance mental health awareness among students and staff workers, Reel making competition, poster making competition, UG psychiatric quiz, and Mass level digital mental health pledge.

Executive director Dr Nitin Sharma told that various activities will be organised by the institute as per ambitious program of Rajasthan government Rajmamta. These activities will help Medical and nursing students as well as better cope with mental health problems of themselves as well as their peers and patients in their future professional life he expressed better mental health among staff workers will enhance their improved productivity.
