🐥: Recently, when I said on a live that I wanted to shave my head, there was a comment that said, “Do whatever Ni-ki wants to do.” I liked the comments from people who love everything about me.

🐥: There are things that ENGENE likes, but there are also things that I want to do. I’m grateful and happy to see that you like it and react positively when I do those things. 😭🤍

I’m crying. 😭I was going through my saved posts and came across this answer Ni-ki gave during ENHYPEN’s anniversary interviews in 2023, where he expressed how much he loves the comments from ENGENEs who accept and love him just as he is, who support his decisions, and who are happy to see him doing the things he likes. He himself said how happy and grateful he feels to receive that love and those positive reactions every time he gets to do something he wants to do. And I couldn’t help but remember the words he shared with us in his DMs a few days ago.

And honestly, I love so much how Ni-ki has always stayed true to himself, how he has always been so sure that he wants to live life on his own terms, and how he isn’t afraid to express what he feels and what he wants to do. 🥹I will always be grateful to him, and it makes me so incredibly happy to see that even with all the expectations placed upon him, he has never allowed them to define who he is. Instead, he has reminded us of the importance of enjoying our own lives, daring to do the things that make us happy, and not living our lives thinking about what others expect from us. And it makes me so happy to see him living his life in exactly that same way, with that same freedom and happiness, regardless of what others might say, simply enjoying his life.

That’s why, from the bottom of my heart, I hope there will always be ENGENEs who support him every step of the way, respect every decision he makes, and surround him with so much love, admiration, praise, tenderness, and warmth, without ever trying to limit him or change him to fit anyone’s expectations. Ni-ki has expressed how happy and grateful he feels to receive that kind of support, and I hope he can always remember and feel that he is loved, safe, and free to be himself. And I hope he never forgets that there will always be people who celebrate his decisions and choices, who will be happy to see him being happy, and who will encourage him to keep living his life exactly the way he wants to.

I’ve always admired you, my Ni-ki. And you are such a wonderful example of someone who wants to live without regrets, enjoy the present, and stay true to himself. I hope you will always remain free and happy throughout your life, that you will be able to make every dream you have come true, and that when you look back, you will feel proud of the life you chose to live and of everything you have done and accomplished.
