It’s so funny that the NHL fanbase, for decades, used to be strictly dudes that chew tobacco and listen to limp bizkit and raise an entire family on 70k a year and then TikTok came out and now the fanbase is just dominated by the comment section of gay people that think you hate that their gay but nobody really cares that theyre gay it’s just that they’re kinda assholes and not pleasant individuals.

TJ Oshie is an energizer--a fountain, not a drain. The Middle America kid next door with a warm smile, effortless charm and a curious nature. Polite, respectful, and self aware. He's still in mourning a bit not being a player anymore--he lived for the athletic battle and paid his dues with a sore back of an older man. Filing the void is a challenge. But he sees details and his nature will have success always tapping him on the shoulder. Some are blessed with that magical dust. When he wonders "what's next?", he'll walk down a street, trip over something, reach down to pick it up, and it will be exactly what he wants. Life is about being ready for the chance encounter. For now he's on our team. A rookie again--and he'll figure it out and keep getting better. It was fun and energizing being his liney last night in St. Louis. He is just who you think he is when you see him on your TV.
