@EricRSammons The ones I know and from where I came—it’s about connections, influence, and money. As for the few wondering & not in love wi/ money: fearing being shamed.
@StephenKokx Because you are operating on the lowest order of reason and just copy pasting what popes here and there said. Those things were said for a normal situation. But as Catholics, we know in extraordinary situations, we need to think metaphysically. You’re framewor is
@NovusOrdoWatch If you believe Peter’s Chair is empty, the can you please elect your pope and focus your attention on fixing your church. You are so obsessed with us. Go focus on your church.
@StephenKokx And so what are you trying to imply? That saying they don’t want to be part of the Conciliar Church = not having anything to do with Rome? Well, they’re not equal.
@SimonDixonTwitt If you were a traditional Catholic you would know the answer is they’re precisely doing the opposite. They’re further cementing Americanism and making it completely global.
@StephenKokx He’s human and can change his mind. What matters is where he stands today. You can’t really force thoughts on others for something they said/ wrote years ago.
@MattGaspers An SSPX priest once told me—there is a strong correlation between problematic behavior and sedevacantism. I’ve been to chapels in Asia & in Europe and have never met an SSPX priest who isn’t strongly against sedevacantism. And I have spoke with many.
@TaylorRMarshall Look at what is objective—who causes the “shedding”—Rome for not addressing the doctrinal questions & instead “excommunicates” to silence.
@TaylorRMarshall Why do you fill the space with noise? With the head of the old CDF writing porn; the Holy Father blessing ice and having attended a Pachamama & never saying he no longer gee does that—the list is long. But you will focus on something managerial & psychological.
@StephenKokx the dangers with triumphalism. For this time with a crisis much older and generations not having known the Old Mass—Don Pagliarani’s statement is the more prudent.
@StephenKokx Because they’re human beings—thus, not perfect. In 1988, the crisis was not yet as old & given the shocking Assisi & everything else at that point, the 1988 comment makes sense. But the crisis has lasted so much longer & still going. Don Pagliarani correctly realizes
@JeffCassman Marshall’s recent posts have been disappointing. He focuses on insignificant things & has become legalistic. And so much on predicting intentions. Disappointing for one who claims to be a Thomist.
@TaylorRMarshall@MoresJustus@bluegloyper It’s even more imp to make the more significant context of the unique situation that is the crisis even clearer. Otherwise, you contribute to confusion and lead people down the legalistic path where people become woke.
@TaylorRMarshall@MoresJustus@bluegloyper I agree. But in such a crisis where confusion reigns—complete context and clarification is necessary—esp when the SSPX (the primary reason tradition has remained a force)—has been constantly attacked & disparaged for decades. You want to make the not so significant term clear…
