We feel elated to present these moments from 'Kids Save Lives Championship 2023' from Greece. The European Resuscitation Council (ERC), the American Heart Association (AHA) and the other resuscitation organisations have invested considerable effort in the 'Kids Save Lives' initiative. As a result, the World Health Organisation (WHO) endorsed the training of schoolchildren in cardiopulmonary resuscitation in 2016. Today we are one step closer to saving as many lives as possible through #CPR.
The event took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, on the weekend of 1st and 2nd April, organised by the humanitarian organisation KIDS SAVE LIVES – TA PAIDIA SOZOUN ZOES in collaboration with the Regional Educational Management of Central Macedonia. 82 Greek schools participated, and more than 100 certified Basic Life Support Instructors voluntarily undertook the task of training, coaching and mentoring all of the schools to make this amazing event happen.
