Tawakkul will free you. You're not meant to control everything, you're meant to surrender it to the One who controls it all. When your mind says, "what if", let your heart say, "Allah is sufficient for me." He sees what you don't. He hears what you can't. He removes what will break you and replaces it with what will build you. Rest your heart. Qadr is written with love.
Surah Al-Fajr teaches us that:
𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 is not proof that Allah is honoring you,
and 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 is not proof that He is humiliating you.
Both can be a 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭.
Allah says:
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالْمِرْصَادِ
“Indeed, your Lord is ever watchful.”
— Surah Al-Fajr 89:14
So, remain grateful in times of ease and patient in times of hardship.
Surah Al-Fajr
teaches us that:
𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 is not proof
That Allah is honoring you,
And 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 is not proof that He is Humiliating you.
Both can be a 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭.
I'm touched by the saying "if Allah allows you to keep making du'a for something, it means He wants you to have it. Keep asking & remember He is Al-Wahhab-giver of all things."
Nothing happens to a person except that Allah has already granted them the strength to bear it and be patient with it. He knows every soul and its capacity for endurance, and He does not burden it beyond its ability. This is a great divine blessing and mercy that everything in our lives, whether it be illness, sorrow, or hardship, we are capable of enduring.
"Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear" [Al baqarah: 286]
You think you're humble?
Wait until Allah asks you to serve the one who hurt you.
You think you're forgiving?
Wait until He asks you to forgive the one who betrayed you.
You think you're patient?
Wait until He asks you to pray for the one who broke you.
That is where your character is truly tested.
Maybe tonight is the night your dua will get accepted. Maybe if you just pray a little harder. Maybe if there's sincerity in your heart when you talk to your creator. Maybe if there's conviction in your heart that God can make anything possible. Maybe just maybe tonight is your night.
WALLAHIIII, RELAX. You're stressing over something that will eventually become a memory. It’s just Dunya. Things change. People change. Plans change. Your circumstances can change too. So don't let one painful chapter make you forget Allah. Pray. Be patient. Make du’a. Keep going. You don't have to understand everything right now. Just keep your heart attached to Allah.
Ya Allah,
Please remove the spirit of laziness when it comes to my ibadah, praying, hustling and chasing my dream. Push me to my fullest potential.
Ameen 🤲
