i usually disappear. not because i want anyone to chase me, but because i don’t know how to explain what’s going on in my head without sounding like i’m asking for pity
Yesterday my 3.5 year old car “Skoda Slavia” had to be send for repair as it stopped on the road and would not start properly. Had to be towed to a service station. As per the service station new high mixing of ethanol in petrol damages the fuel pump and it has become a major problem. They on average receive upto 6 to 7 cases a day which may require change of fuel pumps. It seems government has neither thought through nor did any study as to how this new fuel with high ethanol mix will affect the existing cars. Car owner have become the guinea pigs and causing them a lot of financial harm. SAD state of affairs @nitin_gadkari ji
This is the grand haveli of Govind Gujjar ji in Uttar Pradesh. Backward class, ji. So exploited, oppressed, and deprived. Reservation is their only hope in life, ji. Gujjar’s reservation must continue for at least the next 1000 years, ji.
The reason millennials are so nostalgic is that they got a brief taste of a world that wasn’t entirely controlled by the stupidest people who’ve ever lived.
Hair raising video from Arunachal Pradesh shows a biker riding a landslide (28.06.2026)
Amidst incessant rains across NE India, a video from Siji, Lower Siang shows a landslide carrying a biker down with it & blocking the Siji River.
Luckily, the biker escaped unharmed. He should probably buy a lottery!
Arunachal Pradesh: “We are losing our land inch by inch day by day to them [China]. The intention and speed of the present activities of the Chinese PLA at Taksing area is very alarming and a matter of grave concern for us”.
“The Chinese Govt is very fast expanding their territory by occupying new and important places of our land situated at border area”.
The NAH Welfare Society (NWS), a registered organisation based in Taksing, has written to Upper Subansiri deputy commissioner, claiming that the PLA has occupied several areas traditionally used by local communities and built roads, bridges and military camps over the past five years.
According to the NWS, these sites were “firmly within Indian territory” before 2020, with some of them holding religious significance as sacred pilgrimage sites in the Tsari region.

In Germany there is another oddity, the Danube sinkhole (German: Donauversinkung or Donauversickerung) is an incipient underground stream capture in the Upper Danube Nature Park. Between Immendingen and Möhringen and also near Fridingen (Tuttlingen), the water of the Danube sinks into the riverbed in various places and part of it does not reappear in the Danube (flowing to the Black see) but contributes to Lake Constance (flowing to the North sea via the Rhine river).
The term "sinking" is more accurate than "seeping", because, instead of just distributing into the soil, the Danube's water flows through caverns to the Aachtopf, where it emerges as the river Radolfzeller Aach, a tributary of Lake Constance and the Rhine, respectively.

@theiaincameron@Mossie633 Such point also exists in Japan.
The Mizuwakare (literally meaning "parting of waters") park marks the location where Takaya river splits into Kako and Yura rivers, with the former (left) heading to the Pacific and the latter(right) towards the Sea of Japan.
