A group of #CCGeeks in Chennai met for breakfast. 🥞
Always nice to hear good hacks, redemption stories, and experiences.
@varunkrish also shared his crazy 8-day ordeal with the recent crisis in the Middle East.
@Tataev Dealing with their service centres also demands a unique kind of therapy. The vehicle was halted in the middle of the road,
and it took a whopping 1.6 years to replace the battery, which was done in October 2025.
@Tataev Please don’t fall for this.
I bought the Nexon EV Max for 20 lakhs in 2023 for frequent travel between Chennai and Bangalore. They claimed a 450 km range, but the actual range was only 250 km.
Now car’s resale value is 6 lakhs in tata upgrade.

@PttvNewsX Autos should be banned, not safe for passengers nor safe for other vehicles on the roads. If they upgrade to car taxis, will drive with care.
@Tataev bought a Nexon EV max for 20L two years ago, it was worst decision.
Have been complaining from 2 years about range (less than 200km), soc drop(below 30% drops faster), and Tata OMR Chennai couldn’t fix it.
Never buy tata product if you want peaceful life.

@Tataev should’ve dedicated ev car service centres.
Existing centres have deaf ears 👂, have given 4 times for service for battery/range issues.
nexon ev max - the max range is 250km.
Whereas tata claims- 450km.
