There is no #guncontrol debate imo. The 2nd Amendment is clear and any "interpretation" of what someone thinks it means is wrong. Any form of law or restriction against it are an infringement on one of our most fundamental rights as an American Citizen (1/2)

Red Flag laws negatively impact domestic abuse victims by putting their abuser in a position to use said laws for control over their victim.
Additionally, if a
victim/survivor is, or becomes a firearm owner, they’re far less likely to receive the mental health care they need for fear of having their mental health record used to take away their ability to defend themself from their abuser.

Rather than focusing on ineffective legislation, politicians and gun control supporters should be focusing on criminal justice reform and directly addressing the country’s mental health crisis instead of putting abuse victims at greater risk.
