Best conversation I had today was with a Wakefield resident who’s voting @UKLabour for the first time.

She said ‘I look at Boris Johnson and those who cheer him on and I just don’t think they live in the same world as the rest of us’.

They don’t, and voters are noticing.

@alliethinks Misleading on the Brighton Workhouse. Gillam was NOT admitted to Elm Grove (where they filmed) in 1855. It was not opened until 1866. he was also unlikely to have been subjected to the regime espoused. The Brighton Union was at odds with the PLB and resisted some of the 1834 Act
