My 80 year old father had his bank accounts frozen at @NatWest

He was unable to answer a call made by them yesterday morning so the just froze his accounts.

The Fraud department he phoned said it is a Special section of their department that cannot be accessed, even by the bank. @Bournemouthecho

The email reply says it will be 5 working days before he will know the outcome

He recent had open heart surgery and it’s causing him EXTREME stress. Because he still works at 80 and can’t pay his invoices he has or get money in.

He has told me that unless it’s sorted by 4pm that he will go to the branch in Bournemouth and refuse to leave until it’s sorted out. And they close at 4.30pm..

I know he’s as stubborn as me l, so my 80 year old dad is likely to get arrested by refusing to leave.

I’m on a ship in Canada..

My dad is frail !! And all he wants to do is access his money he works hard for !!

If a flour Mill in the UK produces under 500 tonnes of flour per year they don't after add synthetic folic acid to their flour.

A man who passed his medical in 1996 with flying colours has four diseases today, and not one number in his body has changed.

Blood pressure 135/85. Cholesterol 210. Fasting blood sugar 105. BMI of 26.

In 1996 that was a clean bill of health and a handshake. Today the same man, with the same blood, is hypertensive, has high cholesterol, is prediabetic and overweight. Four diagnoses, and he never caught a thing.

Where has the national press gone?
