Honored to have been presented by the Ambassador of Italy to Malta H.E. Fabrizio Romano the honor and title of Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy conferred by H.E. the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella on the recommendation of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Grateful that my behind the scenes work, especially during the past two years as Head of Secretariat of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade Hon. Ian Borg has been recognised by the Italian authorities as one that is conducive towards various successful political, technical and diplomatic engagements between the two countries.

Looking forward to continue building on this close collaboration for the benefit of our countries and peoples 🇲🇹🇮🇹

Today, our ES @Steven_Hill_Law, had the honour of attending the @G7 Roma-Lyon Group in Rome 🇮🇹. He highlighted the IIJ’s critical work in #Africa and shared impactful stories from our extensive network of practitioners in the field. We are proud to be countering terrorism and equipping local practitioners with essential skills. Our work encompasses investigating, prosecuting, and adjudicating terrorism cases, always in line with human rights and the rule of law.
