@dude904@NotSpewheb@CaesarsEnt@WSOP@pokerorg I also think a lot of companies/operators in the space just do what they’ve been doing because they’re scared to make changes. No one wants to put their name on a change bc if it fails they look dumb.
@NotSpewheb@dude904@CaesarsEnt@WSOP It’s just not a big deal for Vegas if they make it earlier and it’s really great for East coast. It’s a beneficial decision for WSOP if the goal is to make the most money
@dude904@NotSpewheb@CaesarsEnt@WSOP Definitely realize it’s not going to change. I just don’t see why they would want East coast players to play from 630-730pm until 7-8am. Many skip them because of it. If they started at 330pm-430pm ET w/ their 4-5hr late reg period…it’s better for everyone
@dude904@NotSpewheb@CaesarsEnt@WSOP yeah I mean maybe with traveling players at the series it’s 60-40 West vs East (Idk exact #’s) but still the point remains—moving up start times or adding more day 2s is a simple adjustment that benefits all, especially with 4+ hrs of late reg anyway.
@PokerJermz@BobMerwald There’s a million things they can do. More day 2s, multi flights, move up start times, slightly faster structures, shorter late reg periods, etc…
@dude904@GregHPoker@MDLivePoker Yeah the 2k 500k main works well enough for them, and I appreciate they continue to run it. They also post constant updates on X. I think MD live does a good job overall. They’re consistent. The best rooms are consistent and don’t slash BIs and guarantees after bad decisions.
@dude904@GregHPoker@MDLivePoker MD live has done some good things and they at least run a series 4x year. Philly live runs a 350 mystery on Easter weekend 🤣🤦♂️
@dude904@GregHPoker it’s wild because we all want the same. I’ve offered to help so many times but I guess there’s an ego aspect of it where everyone once to put their own spin on things
