As I predicted, the diabolical plan to force YouTube to show BBC news results in every person's feed is being branded as a "Media Literacy" initiative to give it political cover. Watch the vid below I did 3 years ago on this scam 👇
18 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS.
When a massive voice like MoistCritikal is out here absolutely roasting the UK Government, you know the clown show has reached peak levels. But I'm glad he is using his MASSIVE platform to expose this lunacy!
Charlie just ripped apart Labour’s latest dystopian masterpiece. Their plan to force YouTube and other platforms to rig the algorithm in favour of “trusted” legacy media like the BBC, Sky, and Channel 4, while burying everyone else.
This is a full blown government takeover of what you’re allowed to see. A “prominence regime” (I kid you not, that's what it's called) so they can spoon feed you their narrative and silence the rest.
They’re not even pretending anymore.
This is how free speech gets murdered in Britain. Watch the video. Share it far and wide.

@MoistCr1TiKaL - FULL CREDIT MASSIVE RESPECT!
a. Does this illusion work for all cultures? What about people who are not familiar with the meaning of arrows? (If there are any?)
b. Does this illusion work for people who are colour blind?
@ukboomers You need to get your house valued in case their occupation in the village has decreased the value. I can put you in touch with a golf partner who specialises in such outrages.
The government is introducing plans that could force social media to prioritise ‘legacy channels’ in their algorithms. I’m actually staggered they’re being this brazen. This is disgusting.
More than ever, we need @elonmusk to put his foot down. Social media companies must tell the UK they refuse to be part of its increasingly authoritarian rule.
That would work: The prospect of a China-like block on X, Meta and YouTube is the only thing that might stop these Orwellian illiberals.
Read the proposed legislation in the reply and reply to the email there with feedback. Don’t send abuse - they’ll ignore that. Make reasoned impassioned arguments about the importance of independent media.
Just imagine how they’d react if Trump were doing this! I’m going to put some of the most enraging parts in the replies. Share this far and wide, we need a lot of help to save this country from a very real totalitarian dystopia.
Good video from @kafkaswife.
Net Zero perfectly illustrates how so-called “bullshit jobs” can exist inside the private sector while still be a product of government. The government creates a statutory target and then builds an entire reporting and compliance regime around it. Firms then hire people to do measurement, prepare disclosures, interpret regulations, manage political risk and engage with policymakers and “stakeholders”.
In a previous life I saw how it changed the role of marketing and corporate communications. They are no longer used simply to explain products / services, build demand, win customers or defend their company’s long term commercial interests. Instead, they are used to make compliance look voluntary, turn statutory obligations into statements of corporate purpose and present alignment with official priorities as if it were a sincerely held corporate belief.
These roles might sit inside the private sphere, but their “demand” ultimately comes from Net Zero’s regulatory framework rather than from consumers or clients voluntarily buying goods and services.
Dystopian. The UK gov paper for alternative and social media censorship in the name of protecting “trustworthy” news platforms makes for chilling reading.
Lisa Nandy’s Dep for culture, media and sport’s censorial propositions are yet another attempt to protect the establishment from the people.
Read it for yourself -
“People are increasingly accessing news online, rather than through more regulated spaces like Freeview on their TV sets. This is weakening the ability of trustworthy news providers to reach audiences and shape informed public debate.”
The word “trustworthy” here is Orwellian. They mean by it news acceptable to the regime. Mainstream media is not trustworthy in the eyes of the public, for good reason.
“Overall trust in UK news has dropped, and only 45% of adults feel confident judging whether a source is truthful. This rise in untrustworthy news and corresponding decline in trust in news pose a risk to the public’s ability to access accurate information.”
This is the fault of mainstream media. They have been blatantly biased for decades. The response to the rise in alternative media is for MSM to try and become more truthful, less biased, and honest to the public AND THEMSELVES about their bias. And certainly NOT to censor or throttle alternative media.
“[Social media] makes it more difficult for trustworthy news providers to find, maintain and monetise an audience, with repercussions for the commercial viability of public interest journalism.”
I.e. regime interest journalism
If mainstream media is to be saved it needs to drastically improve its product, and focus on youtube and social media as outlets, it needs to adapt to the media market not try and make the media market adapt to them.
How is it that they are so lacking in self-awareness? Ultimately this is a war they can’t win. The question is - how long will it go on. And what damage will be done along the way.
This is not a document that the government of a free or democratic country would publish. These are the paranoid, euphemism-laced ramblings of a regime in the fag end of its days, desperately searching for somewhere it can continue to cower from reality.

This is properly insane: quite literally the worst example of censorship I've ever heard of anywhere.
I checked the actual ruling (which you can see here: https://t.co/dBKFWZ2ZWm) and, to be clear, it isn't just censorship in the conventional sense - blocking access to a website or removing content from platforms - this is the criminalization of information relayed by private citizens, with prison sentences attached.
And the most insane aspect if that it does NOT matter if the information relayed is accurate or not. It just matters that it originates from RT or other media outlets banned in the EU.
In other words, truth isn't a defense anymore in the EU, it literally doesn't matter. It's purely based on the identity of the speaker.
The ruling is actually explicit about this: the regulation, quoted by the Court says that the prohibition applies to "any content," and they draw no distinction based on what the content actually says. If it originates from banned outlets, it's banned.
It is, quite simply, a complete unraveling of the entire post-Enlightenment legal and philosophical project where entire generations of Europeans fought to move from "who says it" to "is it true" as the operative question.
Think about the absurdity of it: if RT publishes a video saying the sky is blue and you share it on a publicly accessible website in the EU, you'd fall within the scope of this ruling, making you liable to criminal prosecution.
Completely and utterly absurd. But that's the EU today for you 🤷
To the Americans:
I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.
And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:
You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.
This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.
Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.
This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.
But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.
This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.
And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:
Thank God for the United States.
Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.
Long may your admirable country dominate the world.
Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states.
May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning.
Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill.
Thank God for the USA.
Happy 250th.

JAVIER MILEI: “I THOUGHT BEING ON THE LEFT WAS A MENTAL PROBLEM. THE EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE IS SO OVERWHELMING THAT IT NEVER WORKED ANYWHERE, AND THEY REFUSED TO ACCEPT IT.”
“BUT WHAT I DISCOVERED IS THAT BEING ON THE LEFT IS A DISEASE OF THE SOUL. THE LEFT IS BUILT ON ENVY, HATRED, RESENTMENT, AND UNEQUAL TREATMENT UNDER THE LAW. THEY ARE VERY VIOLENT, AND SINCE THEY HAVE NO WAY OR ARGUMENTS TO ANSWER, THEY GO FOR PHYSICAL VIOLENCE.”
Europe built these generous pension systems on the assumption there would always be plenty of young workers paying in.
By 2060 Italy and Spain are heading for barely 1.7 workers per retiree, France and Germany around 2, even Sweden only scraping 2.27.
That’s a slow motion funding crisis, and instead of fixing the real problems governments just keep borrowing more, hiking taxes on whoever’s still working, and importing people who often cost more in services than they contribute.
They won’t touch fertility collapse, they won’t make serious cuts to the promises, and they sure as hell won’t admit the math doesn’t work anymore.
So the bill keeps getting pushed onto younger generations who get to pay higher contributions for smaller benefits and later retirement, all while the system gets propped up with more debt and more people.
But this is what happens when you build everything on demographic quicksand and then refuse to face it.
