Our unit has us exploring different questions centered around animals. Students have been learning about forming a complete sentence/thought. They researched alligators and wrote their sentences in a graphic organizer to verify they had all the necessary parts. @CogburnWoodsES

We love MEASUREMENT!!!! Students practiced measuring rules: end to end, no gaps, and no overlapping with non standard measure. They measured each other and discussed who was longer, shorter, etc. @CogburnWoodsES @FultonCoSchools #measuringisfun #andersonfirsties

My firsties are gaining confidence with our Core 95 chip routine. We finger stretch, count our sounds, identify if those sounds are consonants or vowels, and then write our words! Proud educator here.
