Come to think of it...I don't understand why you only need a SSCE certificate to be eligible to contest for president, but needs NYSC certificate to get a ₦120k job.
@Wizarab10 One thing about Yahoo or illegal work that give you a sudden wealth is that you start seeing 9-5 work or other salary work as very little,it goes as far as looking down on those that do salary jobs as people that don't know what they're doing
The History Before 1984
No Visa Needed: Before March 1, 1984, Nigerian citizens did not need to apply for a visa or visit an embassy beforehand to enter the UK.
Airport Clearance: Travelers could simply buy a ticket, board a flight, and receive their entry clearance directly at the airport upon arrival.
Commonwealth Ties: This open travel policy was a result of colonial history and Nigeria's membership in the Commonwealth after gaining independence in 1960.
When and Why It Changed
The Rule Change: On March 1, 1984, the British government changed its immigration laws and placed Nigeria on the list of countries requiring a visa.
Stricter Policies: Rising migration, population growth, and shifting economic and political pressures caused the UK to end visa-free entry for Nigerian passport holders.
