Parents, NO teacher will berate you if you’re child doesn’t complete all work set, NO teacher wants you to put school work before mental health, they want you and your children to be happy healthy and safe. Just do what you can, nobody needs added stress just now. #homeschooling
Fancy a long wintry walk this weekend to blow away the cobwebs? There are plenty of lakes, hills and forests within Tyne and Wear - but what if you need the emergency services while you're there? Download the @what3words app now to help us find you if you're off the beaten track.
The impact you have on children can last a lifetime. A simple image, conversation, lesson, or simply being around. Keep it positive 👍🏼#RoleModel#PositivePsychology
#InternationalMensDay today by all accounts, so I'd like to say a big ayup to allt blokes back 'ome! Especially anyone 'avin a tough time, a simple ayup can turn ya day around 👍
I love this idea, and it does so much more than lower anxiety. Spending time with animals have been proven to improve mental health, lead an understanding of responsibility to others, and increase our ability to empathise. Great work!
proud of the work of @Bowiejcecc and of course @watdogs1
It has been an investment but our communities have responded! Nearly 100% of the costs have now been recovered through patent and community fundraising.

“SATS, they’re a great idea!” Said no teacher, ever. Teaching to pass a test is not giving the children the best education, and we know it. Time to change.
In @tes today - @ian_cushing details how the KS2 Sats have distorted the way teachers teach grammar and how that has negatively impacted how children write. He offers some solutions https://t.co/FFROGaRScn
It may not solve the issue, but an active body certainly supports an active mind, assisting in the building of resilience in young people. It’s certainly food for thought!

I bought this audiobook for my 6 year old last Christmas, he then fell in love with stories, and this year for Christmas he asked for books. One of the best things you can give your child is the ability to be lost in a story, and I thoroughly recommend this one! @matthaig1
Let’s stop giving little boys the impression that reading books is “only for girls.” Boys deserve the chance to read stories that captivate them. Boys who read books become adults who are curious about the world and capable of empathizing with others.
