This women's day, here's a thread of women we should know. It's yet to register that FIVE women led the march on this day in 1956, so I'll start with the forgotten figure: Lilian Diedericks was a founding member of FEDSAW, trade unionist and underground operative.
Opposition parties the next election is yours to loose. We are done with the ANC. Donโt waste time reminding us why theyโre trash. We know. We lived it. Now tell us why you deserve our vote. Weโre free agents. Seduce us. Woo us. Whisper sweet policies and how you plan to enforce them in our ears. Weโre waiting!
Self-Grace ๐ช๐พ Hereโs your reminder today: โI am allowed to grow at my own pace. I release what I canโt change and focus on what I can do today.โ
Youโre doing better than you think. Stop being so hard on yourself, ok? I love you.
Summary: "Malema made me do it. EFF bewitched me, someone takes drugs, tweets, and insults us at night. Fake intelligence report (Zuma's specialty), I will form a party but won't resign, revolution, progressive forces unite! Zuma is old, EFF bad, ANC bad, MK has scoundrels. I'm ok."

Former traffic officer gets 12 years for murder of wifeโs lover
The Mpumalanga High Court has sentenced 39-year-old former traffic officer Abednego Desmond Mbuyane to 12 years in prison for the 2023 murder of his wifeโs boyfriend, Thamsanqa Sbusiso Nkosi.
Mbuyane tracked his wife to Kwanyoni Lodge using a GPS device after she ignored multiple calls. Upon arrival, he broke into the room where he found her with Nkosi. After a brief altercation, he chased and fatally shot Nkosi before fleeing. He later surrendered to police.
Though he pleaded guilty, the State rejected his version, arguing the murder was premeditated. The court convicted him of both murder and housebreaking, sentencing him to a combined 12 years, to run concurrently. He was also declared unfit to own a firearm.
The NPA and Hawks welcomed the verdict, reiterating their commitment to justice in violent crimes.
