@TRobinsonNewEra Hey Tommy, i see that Urban Scoop accepts crypto for donations. There was a @bankrbot token launch, with fees going to that Base address on your website.

This is an open message to @base team and execs, @jessepollak@brian_armstrong and the rest of the team. As a day one user of Base, before Base had even launched its testnet.
In my opinion, the biggest mistake @jessepollak , @brian_armstrong , and rest of the @base team have made is drifting away from real utility and real builders, and trying to compete with Solana as a decentralized casino for memecoins, low-quality launches, and vaporware.
Base was thriving when it positioned itself as a hub for serious tech, a home for utility projects, real innovation, and builders creating things people could actually invest in and hold long term.
That edge started to blur when the focus shifted toward Zora coins, creator-coin experiments, and attempts to compete with https://t.co/Uqljybxw1p. I understand iteration — Zora has pivoted many times and experimentation is healthy. But action produces information, and sometimes that information tells you one thing clearly:
Go back to what was working.
Base shines when it supports real builders building real tech projects like $mamo, $giza, $aixbt, $virtuals, $kta, $zfi, $indexy, $tig, and so many others.
Somewhere along the way, @base lost part of its identity trying to become something it never needed to be.
I genuinely hope the @base team takes this as constructive criticism, and starts backing high-quality, long-term builders instead of forcing low-quality, short-term speculation.
Go back to the fundamentals.
Go back to what made Base great.
Sincerely,
an ex-Base believer, now forced to bridge back to @solana to gamble instead of investing.
