You probably won't hear this opinion on WWE Radio, but the build to SummerSlam this year has been absolutely atrocious.

Tonight's episode of Raw was emblematic of that. It wasn't a good show at all. Most of the episode barely hyped SummerSlam, and the segments that did were underwhelming at best.

WWE is still trying to sell roughly 30,000 tickets for SummerSlam, and this is the kind of television they're putting out? For a company with one of the most talented rosters we've seen in years, there's no excuse for the lack of excitement and buzz surrounding the second-biggest show of the year.

This isn't on the talent. It's on creative and their inability to create compelling television. You see the result.
