ACTION … Minister of justice and labour relations Wise Immanuel says the non-compliance to the minimum wage, as amended earlier this year, is a violation of employees’ rights. Immanuel was addressing a group of disgruntled City of Windhoek employees, who among various labour issues, claim they are paid N$14 per hour, N$4 less than the amended minimum wage of N$18. Immanuel assures the employees that his ministry will take up the matter and address it swiftly, if the allegations are true.
