Sorry for the late post, many hours after the show ended.

To be honest, at first, this was a very frustrating livestream for me to watch—not because of the show itself, but because of me.

I bought my plane ticket months ago. Plans had already been made with so many of my friends in the US and overseas.

Sadly, because of circumstances at work, the nature of my job, and everything else that has happened—including the suspension—I had to break my promise to all of my overseas friends.

I had to make that choice to keep my job and my financial situation stable.

It hurt. It was frustrating.

At the beginning of the stream, all I could think was:

“I should be there.”
“I should have been there…”

My life right now is probably at its second-lowest point, after my stroke in 2021.

But hey…

After watching for a while, I laughed.
I smiled.
I cried.

And somehow, it felt like I was there.

I was still surrounded by great friends—people I love, and people who love me—right here in Bangkok, Thailand. 🇹🇭

ChikuTaku.
Big Red Heart.
A Cruel Angel’s Thesis.
Kirameki Rider.

And so many more…

This is Hololive.
This is the community I love so, so much.

Of course, I wish I could have been there in LA.
I wish I could have cheered together with everyone at the venue.

But right now, I need to become a better man—a man who learns to love and take care of himself more than ever, so that one day, he can love and care for others even more.

That is the man I want to become.

Today, I’m grateful for what I have.

And I’ll keep moving forward.

Because my Kami-oshi’s code of honor is:

“Never give up.”

Then I shall follow it with all my heart.
