So proud to provide the opportunity for our Akitas to participate in the WVFD Annual Christmas parade each year. This year we managed to win 2nd ($50). Now time to thaw after taking everything off the bus this cold night. 😂 Merry Christmas from the Akita Polar Express!
Here’s the events for the remainder of December. Tomorrow, December 11th is PJ Day. Staff and students are invited to wear their PJs and it’s bever too late to bring a small donation in for the Janeway. There’s grade 4/5 volleyball after school, 2:30-3:20.
Due to operational issues, there will not be any school for grades 4, 5 and 6 students this morning. There will be an update at 10:15 about this afternoon session. There are classes for primary grades K, 1, 2 and 3 students. Buses will pick up at their regular time.
I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing people over the years. These are some of those awesome people within the past 5 years. Love the fun and creativity of Halloween @sa_elementary@NLSchoolsCA@SISNLSCHOOLS
What a day of Individual and Collaborative Wellness for our Akita Staff @sa_elementary We had a huge variety of activities and choice to suit everyone’s wellness wishes. I even got a surprise! Everyone knows how much I love Charlie Brown / Peanuts. Love it!!!💞🫶🏽❤️ @NLSchoolsCA

This weekend was awesome! All our AKITAS did fantastic; coaches, players, and fans. The commitment, teamwork, sportsmanship, pride and memories have helped the growth of our youth in so many ways. Then, the motorcade was another gesture of community spirit, pride and support.
The countdown has been on for some time now but it’s getting really close. The players, coaches, families and of course me are ecstatic to be going to Clarenville for this tournament. I hope this is the start of something to continue for years. Yahoo! @NLSchoolsCA@SISNLSCHOOLS
