Heavenly Father, we are in dire need of rain. Please, Lord, we plead to you to show us mercy. Grant us with abundant and sufficient supply of rain to refresh our draught stricken land and all its living creatures and creations, the rivers and lakes, the crops and gardens. Amen.🙏

As queen👑Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina ascends to global acclaim, even the ignorant, pliable, and narrow-minded naysayers and demagogues will ultimately come to praise her, transforming into admirers. #africanqueen#ChidimmaAdetshina
"In vino veritas 🍷: Alcohol often lowers inhibitions, revealing hidden truths, but remember, it can distort judgment too. This can also mean 💥: Anger leads to honest expressions, but emotions might skew the truth. #Truth #HumanNature"
"In vino veritas" - is a Latin phrase that translates to "In wine, there is truth."
This adage suggests that people who are intoxicated or drunk often speak their minds freely, revealing their true thoughts and feelings without the usual filters or inhibitions.
Another version of this is:
"A drunkard's words are a sober man's thoughts."
This means that what someone says while drunk might be a honest expression of their true feelings, even if they wouldn't say it while sober.
Similarly, the phrase "In ire veritas" means "In anger, there is truth," suggesting that people who are angry or passionate might also speak more truthfully, without hiding their emotions or intentions.
As an African, you will never look better than when you dress in African fabrics and African designs. Wear it everywhere you go on Earth. Do not allow yourself to feel self-conscious. That is your colonial programming talking. Silence it! Instead, feel confident. Look, foreigners with influence and juice will immediately pick you out as a bold person, because it takes courage to stand out in your African couture when everyone around you is trying to blend in by abandoning their culture and adopting Western clothing. Ladies will love you. Men will want to be you. You are not weird looking. You are exotic looking. Big difference!

@TheNamibian Potential blow for those advocating for polygamy. Also, it will be interesting to know how the bill addresses the issue of foreign nationals legally married to someone from a different country.
@Official_NFA, @officialmsyns, @GRN_Namibia ill preparation and lack of investment is poor performance. Imagine losing not 3-2, or atleast 3-1, but 3-0!
Very, very disappointing!
@TotalAFCON2023's SA vs Namibia was history repeating itself. Must have been a déjà vu for current Goal Keeper Coach- Ronnie Kanelelo, #AFCON2024 commentator- Ricardo Mannetti and NBC Sport analysts- Rusten Mogane, who were all part of the BW #Afcon1998 team that lost to SA 4-1.
So it boils down to 'Choise'.
No amount of information and caution will stop a person who chose to ignore the warning to walk into a fire. Its like a moth drawn to a flame. 3/ 3.
People act shocked by BBCs #thecultoftbjoshua docuseries as if its the first of such reports. Similar with #Fishrot, TB Joshua, Bushiri or any major criminal accusations started years ago. Only when BBC, Al Jazeera and other foreign media reports then people start talking. 1/3..
Religious culture following is not new. Same way that nobody is forced to start smoking, drinking, go to gambling house, engage and give money to online scams... people ignorantly attend, participate and join in the activities of these religious cults at own 'free will'. 2/ 3...
