Initially, Twitter boosts your visibility, creating an illusion of increased engagement. But it's fleeting, a tactic that feels like brainwashing, especially for new users.
After talking to 8 others who've noticed the same, I can't justify supporting this.
So, I'm choosing to stay "unverified," but I'll keep sharing content to bring smiles.
As a fellow South African, Elon, I'm disappointed in this emotional manipulation.
