@lex1ski@SEAbeliever83@0xKingPapi rebases aren't dilutive. minting is dilutive. rebases are just a pointless stock split. u have one $1 apple. after a rebase, you have two 50 cent apples. another rebase, four 25 cent apples. regardless of the rebase, the total value is still $1. But yes, this hole thing's a scam.
@VersifyNFT @jf_nft@NFT And you’re telling me their success rate is worse than the rest of the NFT market…? Get real. How many successful NFT projects are there out of the thousands that were created…
@EightUpWolf@danielesesta@Wonderland_fi You mean, decrease the APY? The APY is what is diluting u all out of existence. You’re calling out ‘lazy people’, but u don’t even seem to understand what you’re saying.
@OgDoprah@MagicCityCrypto @surycapital Right... U seem to be claiming victory here, not sure why... You're arguing against my point of 'price of Time being irrelevant', even though since that Tweet the project has come out and said 'we're shifting away from Time as it is not a good gauge of the project's progress.'
@OgDoprah@MagicCityCrypto @surycapital So, wmemo is down 21% from the previous 7 day high. Oddly enough, mcap is also down exactly 21% from the previous 7 day high. Please explain again how my previous tweet was “not true whatsoever”, as it looks like it was in fact 100% accurate.
@karl_imaginues @RalphZagha @surycapital That’s true, first investment definitely paid off big time. But in the long run, most hedge funds don’t even beat the market, which only generates, on average, 10% returns a year. I just wonder if most people who bought into this project will stick around to only make even 30%/yr
@RalphZagha @karl_imaginues @surycapital Out of curiosity, do u know what the mcap was in late October? If you’re still up, I guarantee you that u r up exactly by the % amount that the market cap is up since then, regardless of rebases or the price of time or any other metric.
@RalphZagha @karl_imaginues @surycapital Which means that the price of time would have to stay flat for the next 12 months despite the dilution, while the market cap grows exponentially.
@RalphZagha @karl_imaginues @surycapital Also, at the current APY, for buys to outpace dilution, I believe the market cap would have to grow at the rate of APY. Which would equate to approx. a $2T mcap after 12 months.
@karl_imaginues @surycapital Yet to see anything here that makes ‘tons of money’. The vast majority of the treasury has come from people funding it through minting. If you bought at any point after peak market cap, you have lost, and will continue to perpetually lose more and more money, regardless of rebase
