🚨$HOOD trade idea 🚨
If you are bullish on $HOOD…
✅ Sell a 4/16/27 $65 put
✅ Use that premium to Buy a $75 call for same date
✅ Total cost: $930
On Tastytrade with Portfolio Margin the effective collateral usage is only $1,050
You profit more the higher $HOOD goes 💰🔥
Tired of overcomplicating $SPY 0DTE and watching your account swing wildly?
I only use 4 levels and one repeatable pattern. Previous Day High/Low + 15-min ORB. Break → Retest → Expansion.
Here’s the exact framework I trade daily 🧵
the timeframe question i get asked most:
what chart do you use for 0DTE?
1 minute. that's it.
and here's why it makes sense for the way i trade:
i hold on average for 1–5 minutes.
if you're only in a trade for 5 minutes —
you don't need a 15-minute candle to close to tell you something.
you need to see what price is doing right now.
the 1-min chart is enough for:
→ entry timing at my level
→ RSI confirmation (>70 for puts · <30 for calls)
→ exit signal when the move plays out
everything i need is visible in 60-second intervals.
but here's the rule of thumb nobody says out loud:
the timeframe you use should match how long you plan to hold.
longer timeframe — longer hold.
if you're trading off a 15-min or 1-hour chart —
you need to give that setup hours to play out.
fighting the clock on a longer timeframe kills your trade.
shorter timeframe — shorter hold.
if you're in and out in 5 minutes —
a 1-min chart gives you all the information you need
without the noise of waiting for a longer candle to close.
no timeframe is wrong.
they're just built for different hold times.
figure out how long you want to hold.
then pick the timeframe that matches it.
for $SPY 0DTE scalping — 1 minute is all you need.
