@alanthomasdoyle I could have taken like 5 friends to see @seanmccannsings when he was in Edmonton a few months ago for the same price. I’m a social worker in addictions & MH -I work with families that struggle day-to-day though the poverty and dismay that you’ve spent a career singing about. 2/3

@alanthomasdoyle It’s amazing to me that to see you here, through Ticketmaster, would cost me over $150 for a pair of tickets with Ticketmaster taking like $40 of that in fees. If I lived in Edmonds, WA it’s $37/seat and sales aren’t through Ticketmaster. 1 of 2.

@TheRealYegRon I think a big portion of this comes from the culture in the US where in some states waiters aren’t paid minimum wage, they’re paid a pathetically small wage and literally rely on tips to live. Where as in a country where we do pay minimum wage, you would think less would suffice.
