Every Paul Newman story: "He won his race car after beating the Devil in a contest to see who could make the most delicious vinaigrette"
Every Marlon Brando story: "Brando insisted The Hamburglar was real, alive in the Philippines, and responsible for his financial troubles."
Disturbed news anchor: It's called the "Roger Sterling Challenge." Teens dress like Mad Men character Roger Sterling, eat 24 raw oysters, and walk up a stairwell until they vomit.

@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex Any comment on Alex’s fundraiser that they need since apparently The Accomplices cowardly retraction emboldened their rapist to pursue monetary damages against Alex and won’t settle? Do you feel any responsibility or guilt for that at all?
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex presses and orgs in the creative space? and 2) what advice would you offer small presses and orgs now about how to defend themselves or establish ways to protect their people and fortify creative spaces against predatory litigation?
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex Your transparency here is admirable, especially since the other Accomplices partners are unwilling to even acknowledge their role in this. My final two questions are 1) are you worried about the precedent this might have set for people in using predatory litigation against small
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex Why should anyone trust any of you in any future partnership or collaboration after this? Also why don’t you just deactivate the Accomplices Twitter? It seems like that would be a workaround for getting rid of that unconscionable statement.
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex you previously said that you had already tried to end the partnership. What was actually lost? Someone is facing financial ruin from a predatory scumbag because people who hate each other couldn’t be bothered to do even the most basic due diligence or legally required obligation.
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex From the Accomplices site: “The Accomplices, LLC is a literary arts partnership and media company consisting of the entities: Civil Coping Mechanisms, Entropy, and Writ Large Press.”
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex But both groups in this case refer to each other. I don’t say that I’m a property of Accomplices, LLC even if it does, but Entropy does say that. And Accomplices, LLC also says it. If Entropy isn’t part of it, why do both say that it is? They both currently say that it is.
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex The explanation that Accomplices, LLC was just pulled it into this due to some technicality doesn’t make any sense. Nor does the explanation that it had to settle due to filing default. The court record shows that response filing extensions were granted twice.
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex That would make Accomplices, LLC the owner though, wouldn’t it? Entropy isn’t a business or entity that can be sued. Both Entropy and Accomplices, LLC both prominently list Entropy as a property of Accomplices, LLC. Currently. Both sites do. As of the time of this tweet.
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex Additionally, the only business or nonprofit in the Oregon SOS database that lists Janice at all is Accomplices, LLC. There’s zero record of her ever having been involved in any other type of established legal entity in Oregon at any point other than Accomplices, LLC.
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex A perusal of the Oregon SOS site shows that unless Entropy was registered under a completely different name it has never existed as a registered or legal entity of any kind. Other than its website, it does not exist. And the Entropy website says it belongs to Accomplices, LLC.
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex How would the person who filed the lawsuit have even known that Janice had mixed the cash between the two organizations’ accounts without the plaintiff having sent subpoenas for the financial records?
@chiwanchoi @isobelohare @DifrancescoAlex The idea that these two organizations are separate and unrelated seems suspect. Entropy currently lists itself as a property of The Accomplices, LLC and the Accomplices website lists Entropy as one its properties.
