Tomorrow/Wednesday is the FINAL Wear ✨GOLD✨ Wednesday of the Month and the Final Day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! 🤩⭐️

If you have been moved by the outpouring of stories and love shared about Adam’s Army from the families we support, would you please consider Making a Donation in honor of those families so that we can continue our mission of making sure children in our community don’t suffer the affects of financial insecurity while they are battling for their lives? 🙏

In September alone we received Grant Applications from 5 families totaling over $10,000 and that’s more than we have coming in each month right now. We always find a way to cover the costs of approved grants but it would be a great relief to me to get all the Costs of our Color Brazos Valley GOLD event covered and also not have to worry about where our funding is going to come from for the next 2 quarters so I can spend more time focusing on being a mom and a wife.

Also it’s time for us to rent a storage unit so my family doesn’t have to be reminded of Childhood Cancer every day of their lives because it’s coming out of every space in our home where everything is currently being kept and it’s a hard reminder to live with.

If anyone is able to make a donation in honor of the final day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month so that we make sure we can cover every approved grant application, and set Adam’s Army up for success to close out 2026 and planning for 2027, that would be an incredible blessing to the families we serve!

💔 PLEASE SHARE: A local mom is desperately searching for a priceless quilt she believes may have been donated by mistake to the Goodwill on Boonville Road in Bryan.

Rynda Sisson made the quilt in 2014 using her son’s baby clothes, making it truly one of a kind. She has searched everywhere and is willing to pay whoever may have it to get it back.

We have a very LONG way to go to reach our goal to provide 300 gift bags to the children fighting cancer at Texas Children’s Oncology, MD Anderson Pediatric Cancer Hospital, Children’s Memorial Hermann, and McLane’s Childrens Hospital. All of these hospitals serve the children of the Brazos Valley. They would like us to deliver by August 25th. Does anyone know @KBTXKarla or @KBTXRusty or someone that could share our campaign with a larger audience? Thank you!
