Modified meal box recipes done live on Twitch! Watch as I go full food nerd on meal box recipes in the name of science. Icon by @zombicornTV. He/Him 🏳️🌈
I will be stepping away from Twitter at the end of the week. I will post go-lives and respond to replies/DMs but that’s it. For everything else, you can find me on Instagram (AndrewCooksLive) or Hive (AndrewCooks).
Yes it’s true that most other social media platforms don’t have this protection either. But Twitter removed them at a time when the trans community needs them more than ever.
Hopping back on Twitter briefly to apologize for not streaming Thursday & cancelling Sunday’s stream. The Austin ice storm hit us hard, so we need time to let both the power grid and our mental health stabilize. Hope to see y’all Tuesday. Stay safe and warm! 💜
Say Goodbye to Tweetbot.
We've been proud to serve you over the last 12+ years, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to shut down Tweetbot.
Thank you so much for your patience and outpouring of support over these tough times at Tapbots.

Myth: You can't use soap.
Actually, You can use mild dish soap to clean cast iron. The seasoning on our cast iron is fairly resilient and can withstand a little bit of soap, water, and a good scrub.
Our meal box decided to start celebrating the Lunar New Year early, so tonight we’re making Lion’s Head meatballs! Live and starting soon: https://t.co/hx1fxZ0pSb

Why? What Musk did to Tweetbot et al is unacceptable. Without notice, follow up or explanation, he heartlessly pulled the plug on a team’s livelihood — effectively obliterating the product they had spent years building and refining. It makes me sick, especially as a dev myself.
Tweetbot has been around for over 10 years, we've always complied with the Twitter API rules.
If there's some existing rule that we need to comply with, we'd be happy to do so, if possible. But we do need to know what it is...
@TwitterDev, you know how to reach us.

The beer added to this Arroz Borracho, or drunken rice, from Yucatán cooks off leaving a slight acidity to balance the starchiness of the rice. With the addition of chicken, it is a satisfying one-pot meal. https://t.co/WYNFDTha8E @MahatmaRiceUSA
We still don't have any news from Twitter.
We are honored that so many of you have chosen us as the way to browse Twitter for the past 12+ years and hope it can continue.
In the meantime, we have been working on something else…

If Twitter continues to forbid @tweetbot and other apps from accessing its API then I will be leaving Twitter. Haven't decided where this account will go yet, but will let y'all know when I make the move.
Me, reading a recipe as a kid: Oh, the ingredients have brand names! That’s helpful and super nice.
Me, now: I will use any brand EXCEPT the ones in the recipe out of spite.
