On CNN NewsNight, Meidas Touch’s Adam Mockler defends Oystergruppenfuhrer Graham Platner’s Nazi tattoo as merely just a “weird tattoo”:
CNN’s Abby Phillip: “There probably is more coming out. Don't you think, Adam?”
Mockler: “There could be, but we are now witnessing the post-cancellation, post-purity style of politics that the Republican Party has ushered in. … [Republicans] are now clutching their pearls about this admittedly weird tattoo that Graham Platner has apologized for…”
Overriding local control, Albany politicians have massively ramped up their railroading of upstate communities, forcing them to take on the burden of far more solar farms on farmland. While in the southern tier this morning, I spoke out on behalf of the many upstate residents who are having their voices and opinions ignored and rejected by Governor Hochul and her henchmen of power hungry, out of touch Albany bureaucrats.
I went to Penn Station last night after the attack. What I saw when I got there was numerous people sleeping on the ground and mentally ill individuals walking around in their socks.
Leaving these people out on the streets is not the compassionate thing to do. We need to take care of people and take them off the streets, to protect them and to protect innocent New Yorkers.
The Attorney General can do that. The AG can enforce the involuntary commitment laws and public disorder laws to take people off the streets and get them treatment. The AG oversees every homeless shelter in the state and can make sure they actually help the homeless obtain stable housing instead of cycling them back out on the street.
The AG can do all these things, if you have a prosecutor willing to use the powers of the office. As Attorney General, I will.
10 years. 10 years. I’ve listened to every Dem & never Trump pundit call Trump, Elon and anyone else who voted Republican a Nazi. And now they line up behind Platner, with an actual Nazi tattoo. Unbelievable.
The Republican Women’s Caucus Fund is proud to endorse Jeannine Driscoll for Congress in NY-04.
Jeannine is a strong conservative leader with a proven commitment to serving her community and standing up for all New Yorkers. We are honored to support her campaign.
Maine Democrat nominee Graham Platner said he was rooting for Teddy Daniels, the veteran interviewed here, to die after he watched him being shot. Credit to @cnn for interviewing him.
Reporter: "What do you say to President Trump saying he's a lifelong Knicks fan?"
Hochul: “I’d ask him to name the starting lineup of the 1993 Championship team and see how he does."
The last time the Knicks won a championship was 1973.
Karen Bass just violated election law here. She is so accustomed to breaking the law with no accountability, she even filmed herself doing it. Well, those days are over. We just filed a formal complaint for illegally gaming the election. We must protect our democracy.
Electioneering within 100 feet of a ballot box is AGAINST THE LAW. Soliciting votes at a ballot box is AGAINST THE LAW. These clear violations show a reckless disregard for the rule of law and our democratic process. Someone in a position of power should be especially respectful of our democratic laws, but this is just emblematic of Karen's mafia-like regime. It's "rules for thee, but not for me".
Here is the formal complaint we filed this morning. We will uphold the rule of law and our democratic norms. Enjoy your conference calls with your lawyers, Karen!
A football-field-sized American flag and a red, white, and blue light display were unveiled at the Hoover Dam as part of celebrations marking America’s 250th anniversary.
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been arrested for allegedly strangling and suffocating a woman. Which sounds bad. But it could be worse per sports media — he could have introduced President Trump at a rally.
Rainy day in New York. So I read the state budget. All 4,000+ pages of it (10 bills).
It’s a novel. A very expensive one. Written with your money.
How does any of this make New York more affordable for you?
$6M — FIFA soccer fields. Because the World Cup.
$10M — Grants for nonprofits to buy their own buildings.
$160M — Quantum computing hubs. Five of them.
$500M — Cash bailout for NYC. Upstate pays. $4B total to make Zohran happy.
$103M — Arts Council grants. Plus $8M just to run the agency.
$75M — Subway design studies. No shovels. Just studies.
Full list in the slide.
$268.5 billion. $2.4 billion in items that do nothing for your life. Aren’t you tired of this?
Put me in that room. I’ll be the loudest guy at the table. I promise.
New Yorkers pay the most. It’s time someone fought for them.
This LIRR strike is crazy because I thought congestion pricing was going to solve all the MTA’s financial problems and it was going to be smooth sailing from now on.
Weird.
